The turmeric adds additional anti-inflammatory benefits and also blocks the actions of 5 alpha-reductase, reducing sebum production and eliminating acne infections. This causes the red inflamed look of the skin to resolve quickly, breaking the inflammation cycle and promotes healing. The marjoram blocks interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-alpha and histamine generated by free fatty acids within the follicles.
